Free until 5/28/18!
Because all of you helped make ORION a success, I’m going to give you another free book. From now till May 28th, Playlist of the Ancient Dead will be free on Amazon! But that’s not all! Right now, I’m participating in a group giveaway of over 100 books! You can grab them over here. No email sign up required! (Though I’m sure the other authors could use the support like you supported me). I also want to do one more thing for all of you. The first ten people who reply to this email will get a free audible download code for the ORION Audiobook.
So how did the ORION promotion go? The book hit #74 in the free store on Amazon over all, and there were over 4.5k downloads!
So what does all this free giveaway do? It seeds Amazon’s “customers who bought this also bought this” lists. Since the book is new, it will have a period of time with higher visibility on the site. If you want to help during this time period, please share the book with a friend or leave a review. Those small things add up. Thank you again. I appreciate your support.
Who would have thought that I would have such an appropriate book cover for what would be my last Kindle Scout campaign? I want to thank you all for supporting ORION. You folks are truly what keeps me going. So let’s get to business. How do you get ORION for free?
It’s pretty simple. May 20th through the 23rd the book will be a free download for Kindle on this link here. I couldn’t do it any sooner because I need to book advertisers or else it would disappear in the mountains of literature on Amazon.
Lastly, if you want to support me financially speaking, you can either preorder ORION or buy the many in my back catalog (I recommend Time Burrito).
Bonus Lastly, if you think you know someone who might like one of my books, lend them it on your kindle, recommend on social media. It’s the small things that help in a big way.
Thank you all again, and I will remind again in May when the free download is up and running.
I wanted to give you all a quick update. As many of you know, Kindle Scout is no more. According to Amazon, ORION could still be selected for a publishing deal. If it is selected, you’ll have till May 31st to get the free copy if you nominated. The far more likely option of it not being selected will still result in a free copy. However, in order to make the most of a free promotion, I need to book advertisers. I can only do that with about a month or two before the free period.
So what that means is the book will be on preorder until the ad dates because it’s always better to run those promotions closer to the release date. I have received many comments from folks interested to read the rest of the tale. Thank you all for those. Seriously, they keep me going. You will get to read it, but in order to make sure ORION isn’t buried under the 500 other books released this month alone, I need to be smart about my release. I like to be transparent about what happens behind the scenes so you know why are you waiting, instead of just waiting.
Thank you all for your support,
There are only days left to nominate ORION and get a free copy if it selected. Your support is critical to the success of this book. The more people who nominate, the more people will see the book. Even though Time Burrito wasn’t selected, your help let it reach a wider audience, larger than I had anticipated.
If you haven’t done so, click here, check out the excerpt, and then click nominate if you like what you see. I appreciate the support you have given me. I want to give a little back. For the next five days 4/1/18-4/5/18, Living Material Inside — Open Immediately will be free. Time Burrito will be 99 cents from 4/1/18-4/7/18, a perfect gift to brighten a friend’s day!
Did you know you can find info about any of my books by clicking the book link to the side and then clicking on any of the books?
Hi everyone, I wanted to let you all know that I just did an interview on Real Paranormal Activity. If you haven’t heard, the show is a great podcast that reads listener ghost stories. Check it out on your favorite podcast app (just in time for Halloween). If you want to hear my interview where I talk about writing, life, and even a few ghost stories of my own, you can listen to it here.
And if you haven’t nominated Othello and Zombies yet. Seriously, what are you waiting for? You can nominate here.
Hi everyone, I was going through some files the other day, and I found the first book that I wrote called Time Agency. I’m going to put it on Kindle Scout, and it will need to get nominations for chance at being published by Amazon. Nominators will get a free Kindle edition if I get published. It’s a win for both of us. Click here to nominate.
Here a short description of the book:
Roman woke on a busy city street. His memory gone. A well-dressed man approached him, and left a locked briefcase at Roman’s feet.
An agent named Nanette tracked Roman. Her agency captured and reprogrammed those who sought to alter the past. But Roman’s case was different than all the rest. Her well-dressed protégé gave Roman a briefcase. Capturing a person seeking to alter the past was routine, a fellow time agent altering the past was cause for panic.
Roman’s memory came slowly back as the technology in his body began to regenerate his neural pathways. Fragments of a past bubbled to his conscience. Roman wasn’t sure if his past was worth reliving. There was a blonde woman from his past, and she disappeared because she was curious about the future.
Roman was on the run because he asked a simple question. A child would ask the same question when learning about time travel in school. What’s the future like? There was so much information about the past. Historians would travel back, blend in, and record “real” history, but Roman was not allowed to travel to the future. Why was future travel restricted to some mysterious-agency division?
The well-dressed man knew the answer to Roman’s question and had the briefcase full the secrets to prove it.
